Earlier this year, Mercedes-Benz marked the next phase in the company's evolution by showcasing the Concept EQ at the 2017 CES in Las Vegas. Not only does this represent a new vision for electric vehicles, it also establishes a new brand for Mercedes-Benz: Electric Intelligence. This will cover a range of vehicles and mobility solutions designed to transform the ways we drive and power our cars.

The SUV coupe concept draws immediate attention, with blue lights and a gleaming black hood. Intuitive touch-screen interfaces replace traditional knobs and switches, and control a floating wide-screen display. Interior ambient lighting automatically adjusts to driver activity, enhancing the comfortable, elegant space. Car-to-X technology, intelligent Driver Assistance and a 3D real-time map display offer the latest in driver-assistance technologies.

Two electric motors power the vehicle, delivering up to 300 kW (402 horsepower) and an expected 0-60 mph time of less than 5 seconds. With a range of over 300 miles on a full charge, the vehicle conveniently charges at public charge stations, an at-home wall box or a wireless induction charger.

We're looking forward to a production version of the vehicle arriving sometime in 2019. Our showroom at 940 South Colorado Boulevard in Denver proudly serves drivers from the Denver and Aurora areas.
